2005 - New simple and user-friendly service tool. The PinKey was launched for all Elsafe in-room safe models.

2004 - Successful launch of the Xtra by Elsafe. The mid-range electronic hotel safe.

2003 - The UL-listing was also awarded to Elsafe's Sentinel Series. The Sentinel Standard, Plus and Advanced went through UL's extensive testing program with success.

2003 - Elsafe produces safe number one million. The Presidential Suite at The Waldorf Towers in New York is location for the one-million Elsafe installation.

2003 - ASSA ABLOY Hospitality established by combining the strengths of VingCard, Elsafe, Timelox and Inhova as well as the resources of one hundred locking solution companies of the ASSA ABLOY Group.

2001 - The Elsafe Biometric safe won the industry's highest honor - the
Kenneth H. Hine "Editors' Choice" Award for best new product, presented at the 2001 International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show in New York.

2001 - Became the first electronic safe manufacturer in the world to
successfully pass the stringent UL break-in test, gaining a coveted UL-rating for the Elsafe Infinity - Series.

1997 - VingCard acquires Elsafe and becomes the largest solution provider in in-room hotel security.

1996 - Over 3000 safes S30 installed at Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. Biggest Elsafe hotel safe installation so far.

1989 - Over 2000 hotel safes installed at Westin Stamford & Westin Plaza in Singapore.

1986 - Over 600 Elsafes in the Hotel Eurobuilding in Caracas, Venezuela
makes this the first installation in South America.

1985 - The Hotel Robinson Club in Diani, Kenya becomes first Elsafe
installation in Africa.

1984 - Over 1300 hotel safes to the Hawaiian Regent, Honolulu. This becomes first Elsafe installation over 1000 rooms.

1984 - The Las Vegas Club becomes first Elsafe installation in Las Vegas.
